Home sweet home. Home is where the heart is. There’s no place like home. Alexis took all those phrases to heart when she planned her bridal portrait.
Alexis says, “My shoot location was at H.O.P.E Farms in Greenville, NC, which also happens to be my parents place where I grew up. I selected this because it was the farm I was raised on and I felt that it would have the most meaning to me, along with beautiful sceneries.”
Thanks to some gentle encouragement from her family, Alexis made time for a couple photos with her old friends: the family goats. She says, “I raised goats for many years and showed through 4-H and ABGA. I also worked on a Boer goat farm at the time of the portraits. They have always been a passion of mine.”
Alexis’ advice to you applies not only to bridal portraits but to the wedding experience as a whole: “Enjoy every minute of being a bride. It goes by way too quickly and you will wish you had that time back, instead of wishing for the wedding to get here. Also, take as many pictures in your dress as possible. I did two bridal sessions. Those are the only times you get to wear your dress.”
