The relationship that you have with your photographer can make or break your wedding-related portraits. Patrick and Danielle loved working with their photographer.
She says, “The most memorable part of the session was the comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, along with the flexibility and encouragement of the photographers (Open Aperture Photography (ECB/Web)). It was truly the photographer that made the experience as wonderful as it was!”
Patrick, a Marine, and Danielle, a preschool teacher, incorporated his five year old daughter Audrey into the session. She was the star of Danielle’s favorite photo. She says, “To pick a favorite photo, which is nearly impossible, would be the photo of my future stepdaughter announcing the engagement via chalk board in front of my fiancé and I standing down an entrance road to Mike’s Farm. What strikes me about the photo is not only the immaculate photography skills presented in the photo but the laughter in my future stepdaughters face. It is a look of pure joy and happiness which was encouraged solely by the photographer interacting so well with my future stepdaughter. This particular instance set the encouraging and goofy mood for the entire photoshoot making it a truly special experience for all people involved.”
The advice that they received going into the shoot was to “have fun and embrace each other.” As for what she wants to pass along to you, Danielle says, “Advice I would offer to brides, both military and civilian, is to relax! To set all worries and stress aside and most importantly breathe. Have one or two specific ideas in mind of how you would like portraits to represent yourself and your fiancé and let the photographers accomplish what they do best!”
