One of the reasons that Brittney selected her venue was for its “beautiful barn appeal.” That probably made Phillip feel at home since he’s an eighth generation farmer. (Wow!)
The couple met in college and they traveled to Rose Hill, near Brittney’s hometown, from Whitakers.
Some brides recommend taking a while before the wedding so that you can have plenty of time to get things done. That wasn’t a fit for Brittney. She says that her best decision was, “not having a long engagement. I am a procrastinator so I knew if I gave myself a year or more, I would just be rushing at the end to get things done.”
The best piece of advice that Brittney received is also one that she’d like to pass along to our readers. She says, “Don’t sweat the small stuff because you won’t even notice those things on the ‘Big Day.'” She continues, “Small details can be important but if something is forgotten or left off, it won’t ruin the day.”

Here’s what Brittney says about the next photo: “My favorite picture is the one of our whole wedding party in the vineyard, smiling and walking. We could have never made it this far without each one of those people shaping and supporting us. We love our friends, cousins and siblings so much!”
