A man that sings and plays Jack Johnson songs on the guitar can steal most girls’ hearts. Will played and sang a pair of Jack Johnson songs to Samantha at their wedding reception. It’s no wonder she married him!
“It was the SWEETEST thing,” says Samantha. “He sang Angel and Better Together by Jack Johnson. I love both of those songs and he knows it. I don’t even know when he had time to practice it! In the back of my head, I kept wondering if he was going to do anything surprising or personal and he pulled it off. After the dances, he had his friends pull a seat up in the middle of the floor and sat me down and whipped out his guitar. No music or anything was playing, just him and his guitar. He plays so well and I love his voice. I cried like a baby, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the whole room. It was just so perfect.”
As for the wedding itself, it was a DIY affair full of love and attention to detail. She says the DIY aspect of it was both the best and worst part of the whole event. “It was very stressful but very rewarding!” says Samantha. “I’m so glad we were able to pull it off so smoothly and make everything come together into such a beautiful day!”
As for her advice to other brides, this is some advice you’ll want to heed: “Make sure you hire a photographer you can talk to about what you want and expect. Pictures are forever and you want to have something to look at for years and years that can bring you right back to the happiest day of your life. Don’t stress about the little stuff.”
